This painting was originally raffled off for charity during the worst days of the Covid Pandemic in New York City. Two 10" x 14" giclees were made and given to the woman whose face I used for the painting and her sister.
Now, I have made a very limited edition of ONLY 30 signed & numbered giclees with a very special half price offer to people in the nursing profession and people wanting to buy one for a nurse. Since there's no way for me to truly know if you are a nurse or buying for a nurse, the honor system is being used.

*inspired by the final scene in Charlie Chaplin's 1936 film, Modern Times and Grateful Dead's refusal to sign the "Loyalty Oath" presented to them by the Screen Actors Guild. SAG said it was required for their participation in the 1968 film, Petulia. The band saw it as just another Joseph McCarthy Hollywood blacklist tool left over from the "Red Scare" which prevented Chaplin from reentering the USA just 15 years earlier and tried to derail many other Hollywood elites at the time. The outcome of Grateful Dead's protest was that SAG made the "Loyalty Oath" optional and eventually eliminated it all together.
